FAQs

Common questions about Delegated.

How private is my data?

Each customer runs in their own VM with isolated storage. No data is shared across customers. Agents talk to LLM providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.) over your VM's outbound connection — providers don't store your prompts beyond their own retention windows. Your raw documents, leads, transcripts, and call recordings stay on your VM.

Can I export my data?

Yes — anything stored in HQ (leads, messages, transcripts, voice bookings, drafts) is exportable as CSV / JSON from the relevant tab's actions menu. On account cancellation you receive a full export of everything 72 hours before VM destruction.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. From the Stripe portal in HQ → Billing → Cancel subscription. Access continues until the end of your current billing period. For the Receptionist add-on, the phone number stays parked on your account for 30 days as a grace period before being released.

What happens to my data when I cancel?

VM is destroyed within 24 hours of cancellation. Convex-side data (leads, messages, billing history) retained 90 days, then permanently deleted. Stripe billing history retained per Stripe's own policy. We email you a full export 72 hours before VM destruction so you don't lose anything.

Can I run multiple businesses on one account?

Yes — each VM is one "workspace" and you can create multiple workspaces from the HQ sidebar dropdown. Each workspace gets its own private VM, its own agents, its own leads/campaigns/integrations. Workspaces are billed separately ($99 each).

Does Iris make outbound calls?

No, by design. Outbound cold-call AI is a compliance minefield (TCPA, state DNC, recording consent), call pickup rates on unknown numbers are terrible, and most B2B targets don't want to be cold-called. Iris is inbound-only.

Can I self-host?

Not currently. Delegated is a managed SaaS — we run the Convex backend, the VM infrastructure, the connector service, and the model router. If self-hosting matters for your use case, email hello@delegated.to.

Can I use my own LLM provider / API key?

Yes — pick "Bring your own model" during onboarding. You pay for LLM tokens directly with your own provider. The "Delegated default" option uses our pooled model router with no per-token cost (included in the $99 base plan).
