LinkedIn outreach

Connect your LinkedIn for cold-DM cadences and intent-signal monitoring.

Scout uses LinkedIn for two things: cadence touches (connection requests + DMs as part of a multi-step sequence) and intent signal monitoring (watching posts matching firing rules you define, like "founders complaining about cold-email reply rates").

Connecting your LinkedIn

Open Tools → LinkedIn Outreach. Two ways to connect:

  • Email + password — we use the credentials once to establish a session via myagentmail. LinkedIn may challenge with a 2FA PIN; the form handles it inline.
  • Cookie import — for accounts blocked by datacenter-IP rules. Paste your li_at and JSESSIONID cookies from your browser dev tools.

Multiple LinkedIn accounts per VM

You can connect multiple LinkedIn accounts to one VM. myagentmail auto-distributes signal polling across all of them, so your daily quota grows linearly with each account added. This is workspace-isolated — your accounts only get polled for your signals, never another customer's.

Intent signals

During Scout's onboarding, the wizard proposes 1–3 signals based on your ICP. You can edit them, accept all, or add your own later. Each signal is a plain-English firing rule plus an intent threshold (low/medium/high).

When a match fires, the post author lands as a new lead in your active campaign with source: "linkedin-signal" and full match context in the notes. Auto-enrolled in the cadence; first touch goes out within minutes.
